For a school assignment I created an internship report about my internship at Ontwerp van De Buren in Tilburg, a creative design agency known for its clear visual language and strong focus on branding. The goal was to describe my experience, tasks, and learnings in a professional yet personal way.
During my internship, I supported several projects in graphic design. I worked on layouts, visual concepts, and I was involved in brainstorming sessions with the design team. I learned how to translate ideas into concrete designs that fit a client’s identity, and how to work efficiently within a professional workflow.
The report was designed in Adobe InDesign, using my personal style (consistent with my résumé) to create a cohesive visual identity. I structured the content by a daily diary, combined with short reflections and project highlights.
The final result is a clean and well-organized report that shows both my personal growth and professional development. Designing it in my own style made it feel authentic and reflective of who I am as a designer. I learned how important it is to communicate visually and to maintain consistency between personal branding and project presentation.
